Vietnam, Laos promote cooperation in logistics work
PANO - The visiting Director of the General Department of Logistics of the Lao People's Army, Lieutenant General Vongkham Phommakon, on September 25 called at the Military Academy of Logistics.
At the meeting between the two sides, Major General Nguyen Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Vietnamese Military Academy of Logistics, and Lieutenant General Vongkham Phommakon agreed that in recent years, the two sides well collaborated in organizing training courses for logistic officers and training logistic expertise for their troops. The two sides exchanged and shared their experience in improving the quality of education and training, and scientific research on military logistic services, as well as in building a strong academy with an open and friendly spirit.

For his part, Lieutenant General Vongkham Phommakon thanked the leaders and instructors of the Military Academy of Logistics for training and supporting Lao logistic officers over the past time and highly appreciated the experience in education and training shared by Gen. Hung at the meeting.
"This is invaluable experience for Lao Military Academy of Logistics to learn and follow in its construction and development," he stressed.
In addition, Lieutenant General Vongkham Phommakon also expressed his hope that the two academies would continue sharing their experience and improving the quality of training courses for Lao logistics officers, thus contributing to building a strong military logistics sector of the two countries.
On the occasion, Lieutenant General Vongkham Phommakon visited and encouraged Lao officers, who are studying at the Vietnam Military Academy of Logistics, wishing them more successes in their study.
