PANO - Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on December 9th received the Chinese delegation of the Committee of Border Gate Management Cooperation, led by its chairman Huang Shengqiang, who is also Chief of the National Border Gate Management Office.

At the reception, the host emphasized that one of the important cooperation contents between Vietnam and China is to join forces in building a shared borderline of peace, cooperation and development. He proposed that the border gate management agencies of the two countries enhance exchange of opinions, review, complete, and make adjustments to documents on border gate management cooperation and border development.

The two sides should also continue to implement and expand exchange, friendship and cooperation activities, as a way to jointly maintain order and security in in-land border gates, work together to prevent crime, and create favourable conditions for people of the two countries in border areas to do business and raise living standards.
