PANO - A mission from the Chinese Ministry of National Defence’s Peacekeeping Office, led by its Deputy Head Colonel Li Xiuhua, held talks with the Vietnam Peacekeeping Centre, headed by its Director Colonel Hoang Kim Phung on November 30th in Hanoi.

At the meeting, the two sides shared experience in joining United Nations (UN) peacekeeping operations. They focused on promoting Vietnamese military medicine and engineering forces’ capacity of participating in UN peacekeeping activities to prepare for the deployment of Vietnamese officers in the near future.
The guest thanked the host's warm welcome and stressed that China is willing to share experience not only in peacekeeping operations but also in UN common activities, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and armies, as well as maintaining peace and stability over the world.
