During the meeting, Australian Governor-General David Hurley applauded Vietnam’s peacekeeping force with high professionalism and ability to complete all assigned tasks. He affirmed that his visit to the VNDPKO, the agency responsible for the deployment of U.N. peacekeeping forces in Vietnam, has sent a strong message at the national and international level that Vietnam attaches much importance to the deployment of Vietnamese peacekeeping force to the U.N. missions. It is a responsible member of the world and a reliable partner of other countries.
