During the visit, Political Commissar of Brigade 679 Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tung briefed the delegation on the unit’s establishment, development, missions, and obtained achievements.

According to Senior Colonel Le Ngoc Long, the Lao People’s Army Newspaper has a close relationship with the Vietnam People’s Army Newspaper. The two sides have maintained the sharing of expertise and experience. He said that the visit to Brigade 679 was one of the important contents in the refresher course, helping cadres of the Lao People’s Army Newspaper acquire practical knowledge to serve their task implementation in the future.

On behalf of the Lao trainees, Lieutenant Colonel Khonesavanh Xayalath expressed delight at visiting Brigade 679 and thanked the unit’s leaders for warm welcome.

He said that the visit was an opportunity for Lao trainees to learn about new effective models and initiatives of units of the Vietnam People’s Army to apply them to their unit’s task performance. Knowledge and experience acquired during the visit would help them enhance the efficiency of dissemination work.
