Lao People's Army Newspaper delegation visits PAN
PANO - On September 13, a delegation from the Lao People's Army Newspaper, led by its Deputy Editor-in-Chief Lieutenant Colonel Khonesanvanh Xayalath, visited the People's Army Newspaper (PAN) as part of their journalism training course in Vietnam.

PAN Deputy Editor-in-Chief Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai, along with representatives of the newspaper's leadership and relevant departments, welcomed the delegation.
During the reception, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai expressed his joy at receiving the delegation and emphasized that this visit by the Lao People’s Army Newspaper contributed to strengthening the special friendship between the two countries. He wished the delegation a great success in acquiring valuable knowledge, experience, and beautiful memories in Vietnam.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Khonesanvanh Xayalath expressed his honor at leading the delegation to visit and work with the PAN. He also introduced the history and structure of the Lao People’s Army Newspaper. With nearly 60 years of development, the Lao newspaper now has the online version in the Lao and English languages. They plan to launch a Vietnamese-language online version in the near future.
Lieutenant Colonel Khonesanvanh Xayalath shared that the visit to the PAN aimed to improve the collaboration between the two military press agencies, further enhancing the effectiveness and contributing to the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

He sincerely thanked the PAN of Vietnam for the warm reception and for providing opportunities for the Lao People's Army Newspaper delegation. He also proposed that in the future, PAN should strengthen cooperation, organize exchange visits, share information, and conduct training courses to exchange expertise and provide assistance to the Lao People’s Army Newspaper with necessary equipment for their media work, thus better fulfilling their dissemination missions.
