The delegation was joined by Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hai, Chief of the Culture and Sports Editorial Division, and other colleagues and journalists from the Vietnamese People’s Army Newspaper.

Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy), established in 1070 during the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong, is the place for worshiping Confucius and served as the first university of Vietnam while Ngoc Son Temple is one of Hanoi's most famous historical sites. The delegation from the Lao People's Army Newspaper received an introduction about the legend of Hoan Kiem Lake and explored the temple.

Captain Chith Phetphouthong, an officer of the Internal News Division of the Lao People's Army Newspaper, shared that visiting historical sites was an interesting experience for him and allows him to better understand Hanoi, a city known for its peaceful atmosphere and friendly people.
