The memorial site dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh is located in Xiengvang village, Nong Bok district, Khammouane province, Laos.

It officially went into operation in November 2012 with many facilities, such as a memorial house, exhibition area, fish pond, and garden, among others. It also exhibits a number of documents and items featuring the revolutionary cause of President Ho Chi Minh in Laos, as well as activities affirming the bilateral solidarity over the past time.

A tour guide in the site shared that throughout his revolutionary cause, President Ho Chi Minh left deep impression on the locals. Therefore, many Lao people, together with Vietnamese expats, have come to pay tribute to Uncle Ho.

Nowadays, people of the two countries and international friends visit the memorial site to learn more about the late president.

Xayalath Phongyalak, Director of Kaysone Phomvihane Museum and Monuments (Laos) underscored the importance of the construction, which is the symbol of the close-knit ties between the two parties and states.
