Sailors share ship’s damage repair experience
PANO - Troops of Frigate 016-Quang Trung, on November 15, joined a seminar on ship’s damage repair with representatives from navies of the host China, Malaysia and Thailand in Zhanjiang, China.
At the event, delegates agreed that ship’s damage repair is a regular training content while ships are both anchoring at port and performing tasks at sea. This mission requires troops to have high resolve, skills, good coordination and accurate movements.
Troops of Frigate 016-Quang Trung actively shared their valuable experience in training ship’s damage repair onboard, particularly in cases of water leakage or fire.
Via the seminar, Vietnamese sailors also learned more from experience of other navies.
* The same day, troops of Frigate 016-Quang Trung partook in a ship’s damage repair event at the Shoreline Training Facility of Zhanjiang Military Port (China).
