For his part, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Ngan said that the success of the "Peace and Friendship 2023" exercise would contribute to consolidating and strengthening the existing good cooperative relationship between Vietnam-China militaries and navies in particular and among countries participating in the exercise in general.

During the long-day voyage to Zhanjiang, the Vietnamese naval troops on board the 016-Quang Trung have been on duty around the clock to detect and handle arising circumstances in a timely manner, ensuring maritime safety and smooth communication.
