Russian naval ship makes port call to Vietnam
PANO - Northern Fleet rescue ship Igor Belousov of the Russian Navy is docking at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province between December 2 and 9 as a regular trip.
During her stay, the Igor Belousov also took part in a joint Russian-Vietnamese exercise on searching and rescuing submarines in distress.
In addition, the Russian crewmembers are scheduled to tour several landscape and historical sites in the province’s Nha Trang city.

Over the past time, Vietnam and Russia have witnessed development in defense cooperation between the two militaries.
The visit is taking place under the framework of the Vietnam-Russia Cross Year 2019-2020, contributing to expanding the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Hanoi and Moscow in general and the bilateral defense ties, including naval cooperation, in particular.
