Russia’s military music band to perform in Vietnam
PANO – The Military Band Service of the National Guard of Russia will perform at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi on December 6 and at the Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center in Quang Ninh province on December 8, as announced at a press conference in Hanoi on November 27 by the Vietnamese Musicians' Association.
The band will entertain local audiences with famous Russian and Vietnamese traditional music pieces and famous international songs in classical and contemporary symphonies.

Particularly, famous Russian ballads and folks as well as traditional and modern Vietnamese songs will be co-performed by Russian artists and famous Vietnamese artists, including People’s Artist Quang Tho, and singers Tung Duong and Lan Anh, during the shows.
The program is expected to promote the bilateral relations and exchange in culture, art, and music.
Founded in 1956, the band is directly run by Russian President Vladimir Putin. It has given hundreds of concerts, including numerous music shows at major events around the world, such as the 1980 Summer Olympics and the World Festival of Youth and Students in 1985.
