Leaders and representatives of chains-of-command of foreign countries participating in U.N. peacekeeping operations at UNISFA attended the event and expressed their condolence to Vietnam’s Engineering Company and working group in Abyei.

In a solemn atmosphere, a number of international friends and colleagues attended the ceremony and signed the condolence book in remembrance of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The whole Vietnamese peacekeeping force at the UNISFA Mission paid their last respects to the Vietnamese Party chief.

During the ceremony, international delegates were introduced to the life and career of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who left important marks in the revolutionary cause and made great contribution to the cause of national building and growth.

Major Navita Kashyap from the Indian peacekeeping force touchingly shared her understanding of the career and contribution of the Vietnamese Party chief. “During nearly 60 years, under the leadership of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Vietnam has obtained profound achievements. I hoped that, the legacy of the General Secretary will remain forever in the heart of the Vietnamese people,” she underlined.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some photos of the ceremony in Abyei.
