The Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command hands over certificates to Lao officers.

Despite language barrier and complex weather conditions, officers of the Military Command of Laos’ Phongsaly province enhanced their responsibility and did their utmost to study and take in the provided knowledge related to staff, political, and reconnaissance work. All participating officers met all set requirements of the course.  

During the one-month course, trainees met and shared experience with border guard units in Dien Bien and visited historical relic sites in the Northern province.

Participating officers of the Military Command of Phongsaly province were expected to flexibly and creatively apply acquired knowledge to their task performance, contributing to strengthening the relationship between the two forces and between border guard units, and well managing and firmly protecting security in border areas along the shared borderline.

On this occasion, the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command handed over certificates to 20 officers of the Military Command of Phongsaly province.
