President Ho Chi Minh’s memorial site receives first international visitors
PANO – The Department of External Affairs of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) organized a tour to the K9-Da Chong Historical Site in Ba Vi District, Hanoi, on May 19 for foreign military attachés to Vietnam, under the MND’s approval.
At the event, Major General Nguyen Van Cuong, Head of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum’s Management Board and Commander of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard Command, briefed visitors on the history of the memorial site of President Ho Chi Minh. He hoped that the visitors would learn more about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh as well as his thought and morals after the visit, contributing to deepening friendship between Vietnam and other countries.

During their tour, the foreign military attachés offered incense at the memorial house for President Ho Chi Minh and toured the stilt house, where President Ho Chi Minh worked and his body was first maintained after his death.
On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Farbotko Przemyslaw, the Polish military attaché and head of the foreign military attaché delegation to Vietnam, expressed his honor to be one of the first international visitors to the memorial site. He said that this opportunity brings a great chance for the foreign military attachés in Vietnam to broaden their knowledge of President Ho Chi Minh, contributing to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Vietnam People’s Army and other armies in the world.
