Military unit boosts collaboration with Lao counterpart
PANO – Division 324 of Military Region 4 (MR 4) of the Vietnam People’s Army and Division 1 of the Lao People’s Army signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the headquarters of Division 324 to boost cooperation between the two sides, with the attendance of Major General Tran Khac Bang, MR4’s Deputy Chief-of-Staff, and Major General Doan Ngoc Son, MR 4’s Deputy Political Chief.
At the event, representatives of the two sides briefed each other on their previous achievements. MR4’s leadership also thanked the whole-hearted support of the Lao People’s Army in general and Division 1 in particular.

Notably, 20 Lao officers of Division 1 have just finished a refresher course on logistical work at Division 324.
According to the signed agreement, the two units planned to continue boosting friendship and solidarity as well as information and experience sharing, contributing to ensuring political stability in their stationed areas in the time to come.
Prior to the signing ceremony, commanders of the two units offered incense at the local Memorial House for Heroic Martyrs and visited MR 4’s hall of fame.
