This marks the first time a Vietnamese enterprise has attended and promoted business at SAHA, affirming Viettel’s prospects and business development opportunities in the region’s defense industry. Viettel represents Vietnam in the national pavilion area of Hall 1, alongside booths from West Asia and the Middle East, such as the UAE, Slovakia, and Azerbaijan, as well as world-leading brands like Roketsan (Türkiye), Edge Group (UAE), Leonardo (Italy), and Airbus.
Right after the SAHA 2026 opening ceremony, a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Defense Ministry led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Deputy Defense Minister, visited Viettel’s booth. The delegation also included Vietnamese Ambassador to Türkiye Dang Thi Thu Ha, the Vietnamese Defense Attaché to Türkiye, and leaders of various agencies and units under the Defense Ministry.
During the visit, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang highly appreciated Viettel High Tech’s efforts in bringing its products to the global market. He emphasized that the corporation’s proactive approach to top regional partners demonstrates the increasingly high research capacity, technological mastery, and international integration capabilities of Vietnamese defense enterprises.

Sharing this view, Ambassador Dang Thi Thu Ha noted that Viettel High Tech’s activities are significantly contributing to the promotion of technological and defense industry cooperation between Vietnam and Türkiye, considering it a crucial opportunity to promote Vietnam’s scientific and technological capabilities and image to international partners.
During the event, Viettel High Tech has a working schedule to meet with numerous important partners in the Turkish defense industry ecosystem. This approach demonstrates a strategy of simultaneously connecting multiple links in the value chain, from research and development to integration and commercialization. Through this, Viettel High Tech not only aims at introducing products, but also looks forward to co-development opportunities, technological integration, and participation in partners’ large-scale programs.
Maintaining its presence at major defense industry hubs reflects Viettel’s consistent orientation to make high technology a strategic development pillar, while expanding international cooperation and engaging more deeply in global technology research, development, and integration chains.
