Military ceremonial troupe to join ASEAN plus police music gala 2022
PANO – The Military Ceremonial Troupe under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army on July 6 in Hanoi hosted a rehearsal to prepare for partaking in the coming Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) plus police music gala 2022.
The event brings eight music groups with over 400 members, including six from China, Japan, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar and Brunei. The host Vietnam has two teams from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security.
Colonel Dao Quang Tien, Second-in-Command of the Military Ceremonial Troupe held that his troops will join two categories of concert and parade under the gala, in order to contribute to popularizing the image of the country, people, and military of Vietnam to international friends.
Reportedly, more than 120 troops has spent two months preparing for the event.
As scheduled, the gala will take place on July 9-10 on pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi.
