Medical supplies presented to Cambodian gendarmerie force
PANO – The Long An provincial Border Guard Command held a program, on April 11 at Binh Hiep international Border Gate, to hand over medical supplies and necessities to the Gendarmerie force of Svay Rieng province, Cambodia aiding in Covid-19 control and prevention.
As the Covid-19 pandemic has continued to develop in a complicated manner, authorities and functional forces along the Long An - Svay Rieng shared borderline have closely worked together in the fight against the pandemic.

Accordingly, the Long An provincial Border Guard Command offered 2,500 medical masks, disinfectant liquid, and disinfectant sprayers to the Cambodian Gendarmerie force tasked with Covid-19 prevention in the border area.
Lieutenant Colonel Chel Sok Kun, Commander of the Svay Rieng Gendarmerie force thanked the Vietnamese side for their support over the past time, highlighting that the force would take full advantage of the meaningful medical supplies.
He also hoped that in the coming time, the Long An provincial Border Guard Command would support and share information about the disease to help them take timely measures.
