Visiting Cat Ba Border Station and Cat Hai district (Hai Phong city), the Lao officers learnt about mass mobilization work and dissemination of information about protecting the sovereignty and border security over the national sea and islands, models for the socio-economic development and building the whole-people border defense posture; and the beauty of Cat Ba islands.
During the two-day trip, the Lao officers and the personnel of the Military Broadcasting Center received support from the Hai Phong Municipal Border Guard Command in audio and video recording to produce news and reports. The television products created during the trip will be used to evaluate the results of the training course for the LPA delegation in Vietnam.
The Lao delegation expressed their delight at paying the field trip to the Vietnamese coastal area. Upon returning to Laos, they will share with their people the beauty of Vietnam's sea and islands, as well as the friendliness and hospitality of the Vietnamese people and the enthusiastic support from troops of the VPA.
