After reviewing the training report of the Engineering Company Rotation 4, Major General Tran Trung Hoa instructed the unit to conduct training activities closely aligned with the real-world conditions of the U.N. Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA), including the multinational working environment and complex security landscape. He emphasized the need for the unit to overcome equipment shortages and train with appropriate devices to ensure the highest level of quality and effectiveness.

Leaders of the Engineering Corps observed and inspected practical scenarios such as constructing a field airstrip, a helicopter parking area, a remote engineering station, and conducting a security drill at the unit’s base.

With a well-prepared training ground that closely reflected mission conditions, teams under the Engineering Company Rotation 4 successfully completed their training tasks. The training scenarios were developed based on practical experiences drawn from other peacekeeping engineer units deployed at UNISFA.

In his closing remarks, Major General Tran Trung Hoa commended the Engineering Company Rotation 4 for its task performance, thorough preparation, effective personnel selection, and efforts in overcoming difficulties while executing assigned missions in accordance with the established training plans.

He urged the unit to seriously review remaining shortcomings, continue adhering closely to training plans, and ensure quality outcomes. Officers and soldiers of the Engineering Company Rotation 4 were encouraged to proactively study equipment configurations, while the unit’s security team was advised to stay informed of field conditions ahead of deployment. Experienced personnel were also encouraged to share their expertise with newer members.

Major General Tran Trung Hoa expressed confidence that the Engineering Company Rotation 4 would continue to demonstrate unity and resilience in meeting U.N. standards and remain ready for the upcoming deployment to Abyei.
