Joint healthcare program of Vietnamese and Lao militaries concluded
PANO - A delegation of the General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and their Lao counterparts successfully completed a joint healthcare program in Xiengkhor district, Laos’ Houaphanh province from December 21 to 28.
The event was to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Lao People’s Army (January 20, 1949-2019).
Thanks to their good preparation and cooperation, the Vietnamese and Lao military doctors offered free health check-ups, medicines, and health counseling to nearly 4,500 local people, tripling the set number.

This program left a strong impression on Xiengkhor residents.
Besides, the program also aimed to share experience in military medicine and treatment between the two military medical forces, making contributions to improving their cooperation as well as promoting the credibility and solidarity and between them and Lao people.
