International guests to observe field exercise on peacekeeping operations

This was in preparation for the observation of integrated exercise on practical situations on peacekeeping operations within the framework of ongoing Competency Evaluation for Prospective Peacekeeper Program under the Experts’ Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations Cycle 4 in the 2021-2023 period within the framework of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting Plus (ADMM+). 

Heads of delegations of ASEAN+ countries, instructors, international observers, and representatives of diplomatic agencies in Vietnam will be observers. The event is an opportunity to review the outcomes of training within the framework of CEPPP as well as evaluate the coordination capability of military observers, engineering and military medical forces in carrying out U.N. peacekeeping operations. 

At the event, delegates will observe forces’ conducting of medevac for people injured by mine explosion. This is an emergency that may happen while working at U.N. peacekeeping missions, requiring the coordination between military observers, engineering and military medical forces.

Invited guests will observe forces’ response to the situation from the grandstand set at the training ground of Battalion 31, Brigade 28 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service.
