Over the past time, the Indian side has provided basic flight training course for ten Vietnamese pilots at the Indian Air Force Academy and is planning to train ten more Vietnamese pilots in the second support package.

On this occasion, Indian Defense Minister handed over USD 1 million to help the school to build the English and information technology (IT) center.

During his visit to the Signal Officer Candidate School, in the framework of India-ASEAN cooperation, the Indian Defense Ministry helped the school to establish its English and IT center in 2015.

In addition, two Indian military officers have also worked at the school since 2015 as English and IT instructors. Meanwhile, in September 2016, the Indian government announced the USD-five-million support package to set up the Military Software Park at the school. The construction is scheduled to complete in early 2023.

On this occasion, the Indian defense leader granted 5 million Indian rupees (nearly VND 1.49 billion) for the school to purchase more training facilities.
