At the UNISFA Mission, the main food supplies provided are frozen beef, chicken, fish, and vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes, napa cabbage, and cabbage supplied by the U.N. with limited quantities. With creativity, Phuong and the logistics team have been flexible in preparing meals, making the most of the available food and combining it with spices and vegetables grown by the unit to create many delicious dishes ensuring nutritional requirements.

Meanwhile, Phuong is known for her talent in food carving. From pumpkin, green papaya, and tomatoes, to lemons, she creates beautiful flower shapes and arranges them into symbols like the map of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and Nha Rong Wharf. These artistic creations are displayed during the unit's diplomatic events, contributing to introducing Vietnam's image, people, and culture to international friends.

The meticulousness and creativity of servicewomen in the logistics team have helped Vietnamese cuisine make a strong impression on international friends and colleagues at the mission.

She has actively engaged in activities to build a strong chapter; participated in cultural and artistic activities; and played an important role in the movement on building a "bright, green, clean and beautiful" environment.

Phuong shared that although the working conditions in the locality are quite difficult, with limited food supplies, she always tries her best to ensure delicious meals for troops.

According to Lt. Col. Le Hong Giang, Political Commissar of Vietnam’s Engineering Company Rotation 3, with dedication and creativity in work, Phuong is not only an excellent logistics staff but also an example in the unit's emulation movement, contributing to spreading the image of Vietnamese women being good at work and family affairs.
