Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao concludes successful visit and exchange in China

During their stay, the commander of the 015-Tran Hung Dao and the delegation paid courtesy calls on leaders of the Guangzhou Naval Base. Officers and sailors from both countries also toured Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao and Ship 627-Enshi of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy’s South Sea Fleet, and participated in cultural and sports exchanges.

Additionally, the Vietnam People’s Navy delegation visited the relic site of the Headquarters of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth League and several scenic spots in Guangzhou.

After departing from Guangzhou, the 015-Tran Hung Dao will continue its voyage to Manila to engage in an exchange with the Philippine Navy.

Prior to the departure, Senior Captain Do Minh, Deputy Commander of Naval Region 4 and head of the Vietnam People’s Navy delegation, expressed profound gratitude for the warm, thoughtful reception and favorable conditions provided by the Chinese Navy.

In response, Senior Captain Zhang Peiyu, Deputy Chief of Staff of Guangzhou Naval Base, expressed his delight at the positive outcomes of the visit and wished the Vietnam People’s Navy delegation a sound journey and the successful completion of their mission.

Assessing the trip, Senior Captain Bui Van Ben, Political Chief of the Naval Region 4 Command, stated that thanks to the close and effective coordination between the two sides, the Vietnamese delegation completed the entire planned program. The official added that these activities contributed to consolidating trust and strengthening solidarity and friendship between the two militaries and navies.
