The welcome ceremony for the Vietnamese delegation

The Vietnamese delegation was welcomed by Sr. Capt. Zhang Peiyu, Deputy Chief of Staff of Guangzhou Naval Base. Also attending the welcome ceremony were Sr. Col. Do Trong Duong, Vietnam's Deputy Defense Attaché in China, and representatives of the local authorities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sr. Capt. Zhang Peiyu welcomed the Vietnamese delegation and expressed his hope that the visit would leave lasting positive impressions on its members. Sr. Capt. Do Minh thanked the Chinese Navy for its warm hospitality and expressed confidence that the exchange program would further strengthen mutual understanding and trust between the armed forces and navies of the two countries while contributing to the implementation of the common understanding reached by the senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries on promoting more substantive defense and security cooperation.

Chinese naval personnel welcome Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao at Xinzhou Naval Port.

After more than three days at sea, Frigate 015-Tran Hung Dao arrived in China as scheduled. Throughout the voyage, the crew maintained strict duty regulations, ensured proficiency in operating onboard equipment, effectively handled all situations at sea, and kept smooth communications. All technical systems functioned safely and reliably, while the delegation's health and morale remained high, ensuring full readiness for the planned activities.

Later the same day, the Vietnamese delegation paid a courtesy call on Sr. Capt. Sun Jianhui, Chief of Staff of Guangzhou Naval Base. Sr. Capt. Do Minh thanked the base leadership for its warm reception and effective support in preparing and organizing the visit.

He noted that the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and China have continued to expand across various fields, with defense cooperation serving as one of the key pillars of the Vietnam - China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership. He emphasized that naval cooperation has become a highlight of bilateral defense ties, helping deepen practical cooperation between the two militaries. He also noted that recent joint patrols and reciprocal naval ship visits have further strengthened friendship and mutual trust between the two navies.

Sr. Capt. Sun Jianhui welcomed the Vietnam People's Navy delegation and described the visit as a vivid demonstration of the friendship between the two navies. He said the exchange would further enhance mutual understanding and trust between the Vietnam People's Navy and the PLA Navy.
