French naval ship visit HCM City
PANO – The French Navy’s amphibious assault ship Mistral and frigate Courbet arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on April 15, starting a week-long friendship visit to Vietnam.
The visit aims to boost bilateral defense cooperation in general and strengthen ties between the two navies in particular, contributing to enhancing friendship between the two countries of Vietnam and France.

During the stay, the French commanding officers and all crewmembers will pay courtesy visits to the city's authorities, the Naval Region 2 Command and the municipal Military Command.
Apart from that, the two naval forces will jointly hold exchanges, training, and a workshop on environmental security. The French naval officers and sailors will tour several historical sites in the city.
