Female officers of Lao People’s Army visit Military Hospital 354
PANO - A delegation of female officers of the Lao People’s Army visited and exchanged experience in conducting women’s work with Military Hospital 354 under the General Department of Logistics on October 6.
Military Hospital 354, originally Tran Quoc Toan Military Infirmary, was established on May 27, 1949, in My Trang village, My Yen commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province.
It is now a first-class regional general hospital within the Ministry of National Defense, responsible for receiving and treating military personnel and civilians. Additionally, the hospital has rotationally sent its personnel to Sinh Ton Dong (Sin Cowe East) Island of the Truong Sa (Spratly) island district, Khanh Hoa province, to participate in the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission’s field hospitals in South Sudan, as well as in international humanitarian relief efforts.

In recent years, thanks to the support of the hospital’s leadership, women's movement has been effectively carried out through models and activities. The physical and spiritual life of female officers has been enhanced, contributing to the hospital’s successful completion of all assigned tasks.

During the visit, Lao female officers learned and exchanged experience in organizing activities and movements, toured the hospital’s Hall of Fame, and viewed exemplary models such as the "Standardized Patient Room" and the "Digital Transformation Clinic."
