The two defense ministries have also organized activities via various forms, focusing on high ranking delegation exchange, training courses in response to non-traditional security challenges, personnel training, border exchange, people-to-people diplomacy, promoting solidarity and cooperation among militaries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, to name but a few.
On this occasion, Factory Z176 under the General Department of Defense Industry has carried out many programs, contributing to promoting the Vietnam-Laos relations. From November 3, in Vientiane (Laos), Factory Z176 joined a fair themed “Welcoming the Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam Solidarity and Friendship Year” which was co-held by the Vietnamese Defense Ministry and Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Lao Defense Ministry and Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This was an opportunity for the factory to show its capability and brand. In addition to boosting e-commerce, the factory could also seek for partners, expand market, and approach the Lao market. Accordingly, Laos is always considered an important gateway for domestic enterprises of Vietnam to develop in ASEAN countries.
Vietnam and Laos are neighboring countries, which have potential in convenient transportation, and share many similarities in culture and consumption. Therefore, the Vietnam’s participation in the fair also strengthens the solidarity between the two business communities and the peoples.
On this occasion, on November 4, a delegation of the Lao female military visited and exchanged experience in Factory Z176.
This was an occasion for the factory’s Women Union chapter to learn more experience from the Lao delegation. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the factory also received other delegations from Laos. The meaningful activities contributed to enhancing and developing the traditional friendship and special unity between the two nations, especially the cooperation between the two militaries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
