At the reception, General Lich highly praised the outcomes of the 28th session of the Coordination Committee for the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center earlier the same day and appreciated the contributions of the center to the socio-economic development and the defense-military affairs in each country. He hoped that the Russian side would continue to help Vietnamese scientists improve their expertise, contributing to meeting their task performance in the current context.

For his part, Academician Pavlov Dmitri Sergeevich pledged to make his best effort to develop the center to become a multifaceted technological and scientific research establishment, contributing to meeting the requirements of military-defense tasks and socio-economic development as well as boosting traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

Previously, the 28th session of the Coordination Committee for the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center was successfully held at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense. The meeting was co-chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Vietnamese Deputy Defense Minister, President of the Vietnamese Sub-Committee under the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center and Academician Pavlov Dmitri Sergeevich, President of the Russian Sub-Committee under the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center.
