General Lich working with the All-People Defense Magazine |
* The same day, General Lich had a meeting with the board of editors of the All-People Defense Magazine to review the unit’s task performance over the past year and map out plans in 2018.
Of note is the fact that the unit closely followed the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in fulfilling their task of information dissemination, especially about the viewpoints of the Party on performing military-defense missions, protecting the Fatherland, and building the people’s army. Additionally, they published good articles to fight against the “Peaceful evolution” strategy of hostile forces, and wrong viewpoints on the ideological front. Their publishing and the operation of its online version went smoothly over the period.
Addressing the event, General Lich acknowledged the unit’s results over the past years and asked them to continue embracing higher levels’ directions to improve the information quality of all versions.
In addition, he urged them to further information fighting against wrongful viewpoints and preventing manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the army.
