Defense minister receives Cuban delegation
PANO - On February 24, Vietnamese Minister of National Defense, General Ngo Xuan Lich hosted a reception for a delegation of the Cipher Department under the Cuban Ministry of Home Affairs, headed by Senior Colonel Otto Dalcourt Cesar, on their visit to Vietnam.
At the meeting, Senior Colonel Otto Dalcourt briefed the host on the outcomes of his delegation’s meeting with the Vietnamese government's Cipher Board and coordination between them and several organs and schools under the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense. He hoped that the two sides would continue strengthening cooperation in fields of each side's strengths in the time to come.

For his part, the host spoke highly of the results of the meetings between the visiting Cuban delegation and Vietnam's relevant organs, adding that this contributes to enhancing the bilateral friendly relationship in various fields, including the defense ties.
In addition, the host restated the traditional friendship and close solidarity between the two countries over the past time, which were nurtured by generations of the two nations' senior leaders. The bilateral cooperation, especially in defense, attracted attention of both sides' leaders and gained positive achievements, bringing practical and mutual benefits for the two nations' development.
