Chief of the New Zealander Army works with Nguyen Hue University
PANO – Major General Peter Kelly, Chief of the New Zealander Army, heading a New Zealander military delegation, visited Army Officer Training College 2 (Nguyen Hue University). Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen The Thuc, Deputy Rector of Nguyen Hue University leading a Vietnamese military delegation received and worked with the visiting delegation.
At the meeting, the hosts introduced the school’s history, tradition and training program to the guests. The visiting delegation also toured around the school and had an exchange with the school’s teachers of English.

Leaders of the school expressed their wish that the New Zealand side creates favorable conditions and provides supports for the school’s staffs and students to be trained in the country.
General Kelly thanked the school for the warm welcome and expressed his delight at visiting the school. Regarding the school’s suggestions, he affirmed that he will raise the issue at meetings with Vietnamese defense leaders so that the two sides could reach an agreement on personnel training cooperation, contributing to fostering friendship, solidarity, cooperation and development between the two countries.
