At the meeting, Major General Se Vout Thy, Commander of the Cambodian unit and Head of the mission, wished a peaceful and happy Tet to Vietnamese border guards.
On this occasion, the Cambodian general stressed the results of the two sides’ coordination in sharing information, fighting crimes, and managing and protecting the shared borderline.
In turn, Senior Colonel Le Hong Vuong, Commander of the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command, thanked the Cambodian side.
He agreed that the two sides should further strengthen their friendship and cooperation, particularly in fighting cross-border crimes, contributing to building a shared borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.
* Meanwhile, delegations of armed forces of Prey Veng province, Cambodia, visited and extended Tet wishes to the Dong Thap provincial Border Command.
At these meetings, Senior Colonel Le Hong Vuong, Commander of the Dong Thap provincial Border Command, thanked the Cambodian units and wanted the two sides to continue to boost their mutual understanding to heighten the bilateral traditional ties.
They took this occasion to discuss approaches to further expanding cooperation in border management and protection.
