Cambodian police force wishes Tet to Vietnamese border guards
PANO – A mission of the Public Security Department in Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province on January 16 visited Vietnam’s Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command prior to the Vietnamese traditional Lunar New Year festival (Tet).
At the meeting, Major General Tieng Sauroat, Deputy Chief of the department and Head of the delegation, wished a cozy and happy Tet to troops of the command.

On this occasion, the Cambodian general expressed his thanks to the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command for joining hands with his unit in managing and protecting the shared borderline as well as for taking care of the health of the border forces of Mondulkiri province.
Sauroat hoped that in the coming time, both sides will further strengthen their friendship and cooperation, particularly in border management and protection as well as fighting against cross-border crimes.
In turn, Senior Colonel Pham Huu Chien, Political Commissar of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, thanked the kind words from Mondulkir’s Public Security Department.
He emphasized that the two sides should expand their coordination to contribute to building the shared borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.
