Under Directive No.36/CT-BQP dated January 10, 2026, issued by the Minister of National Defense on cooperation with Cambodia, the Military Logistics Academy organized the course for 19 officers, instructors, and teaching assistants from the Cambodian Royal Armed Forces' Logistics Department and logistics training institutions. The participants were divided into four classes covering logistics command and staff, military supplies, transportation, and petroleum.
Over more than two months, the course combined specialized logistics training with military teaching skills. Participants studied professional subjects, prepared lesson plans and lectures, observed classes, practiced teaching, and delivered demonstration lessons under the guidance of experienced instructors.
This is the first time the Ministry of National Defense has assigned the Military Logistics Academy to conduct instructor training for Cambodian Royal Armed Forces officers. Despite various challenges, the academy ensured close coordination among its agencies and units and provided adequate facilities, training materials, interpretation services, health care, and accommodation for participants.
All 19 participants completed the course. The course equipped them with basic skills in lesson planning, lecture delivery, and classroom instruction for application at schools and units of the Cambodian Royal Armed Forces.
Alongside academic activities, the academy organized a visit to the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, sports exchanges, and cultural activities marking major holidays of the two countries.
Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Quang Dung expressed his hope that the participants would apply the knowledge and experience gained to their teaching and training activities after returning home, helping improve the quality of logistics personnel training in the Cambodian Royal Armed Forces.
The success of the course further demonstrated the effectiveness of military cooperation between Viet Nam and Cambodia in education and training, contributing to their good-neighborly relations, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability.
