Border doctors help tighten Vietnamese, Lao people ties

According to non-commissioned Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Duc, who is in charge of the consulting room, before COVID-19 broke out in Vietnam, he provided health checkups and treatment for nearly 200 Lao people annually.
For Lao people with serious illness, Vietnamese doctors visited their houses to give health checkups and give medicines to them.
Many Lao people have considered Vietnamese doctors their family members and vice versa.
With wholehearted care for Lao people, Vietnamese doctors in the Quang Tri provincial Border Guard Command have contributed to tightening the close ties between Vietnamese and Lao people in particular and promoting the time-honored relationship between Vietnam and Lao in general.
