ATLS opens for L2FH Rotation 3
PANO - The Vietnam Department for Peacekeeping Operations (VNDPKO), in coordination with the Military Hospital 175 and the Military Medical Academy, opened an Advanced Life Support Training Program (ATLS) for the Level-2 Field Hospital (L2FH) Rotation 3 of Vietnam on October 6.
During the three-day program, trainees will take various courses, including injuries and first aid for injured victims; examining injured victims; hemostasis, shock prevention; and emergency respiratory arrest, among others.

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Ba Hung, Deputy Director of the VNDPKO, L2FH Rotation 3 is scheduled to be dispatched to South Sudan in February 2021. Therefore, they should train hard to gain more knowledge and medical experience, contributing to making quick assessments and effectively implementing activities in the region.
Via the program, trainees should actively learn both theory and practice, contribute ideas, and apply their learnt knowledge and experience to perform their tasks at drills.
