An Giang provincial Border Guard Command hands over donation to Laos’ unit
PANO - The An Giang provincial Border Guard Command held a ceremony on August 30 at the post of Tinh Bien (Tinh Bien town) - Phnom Del (Kirivong district of Cambodia’s Takeo province) International Border Gate to hand over donation to the Public Security Department of Takeo province.

On behalf of the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command, its Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff Senior Colonel Tran Ngoc Chau handed over VND 1 billion to assist the Public Security Department of Takeo province in procuring equipment to serve its task implementation.
On the occasion, the two sides exchanged and reported to each other on contents related to situation in border areas and agreed to further collaborate in sharing information and foster patrolling to protect security in border areas and prevent illegal border exit and entry.
Major General Sao Sa Run, Deputy Director of Takeo’s Public Security Department, thanked the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command for providing supplies and cash. He added that those gifts have encouraged the unit’s troops to complete assigned missions.
He said that in the coming time the two sides will further cooperate to combat crime, creating favorable conditions for people living along the borderline to visit their relatives, trade, and have their health checked, thus firmly maintaining security in border areas and building a borderline of peace, friendship, and development.
