Chopper and ship in the drill |
According to the scenario, a ship was held hostage by ‘terrorists’. The ‘kidnappers’ demanded authorities free their arrested fellow-terrorists. They also set other demands.
Receiving orders from the multinational headquarters, the task forces, consisting of 60 troops from 11 ADMM+ countries, coordinated, deployed forces, attacked the terrorists, and freed the hostages.
The drill ended with success, meeting all set requirements.
On May 5th, ships of participating countries will start a five-day field naval exercise.
