Mexican Senate keen on increasing ties with VN

President of the Mexican Senate, José González Morfin, made the affirmation at a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Le Thanh Tung on Oct. 10.
Morfin expressed his delight at the rapid development of friendship and bilateral cooperation over the past time and spoke highly of Vietnam’s great achievements in the socio-economic field.
Ambassador Tung expressed his thanks to the Mexican people for their solidarity and friendship to the Vietnamese people in the fight for national independence and reunification in the past as well as in the economic development process at present.
Tung affirmed that the Vietnamese leaders and people want to continue fostering and expanding the fine relations between the two countries.
The diplomat conveyed National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung’s invitation to the Mexican Senate leader to visit Vietnam in the near future.
