During a reception in Hanoi on November 28, Party chief Trong hailed the visit as marking a new development of bilateral ties. He spoke highly of Poland’s active and practical support to Vietnam as well as Vietnamese nationals living in the host country over the past years.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong applauded the outcomes of the talks between the two Presidents, saying that he supports the enhancement of the bilateral ties between the two States and peoples and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of their strengths and demands such as mining, environment protection, agriculture and food processing. 

The Polish President reiterated that Poland attaches much importance to cementing friendship and promoting traditional cooperation with Vietnam. He pledged to create favorable conditions for the two sides to realize the signed cooperation agreements regarding trade-economy, finance, education-training, agriculture, environment protection and media. 

He also talked about the opening of the representative office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City, saying that it could help promote bilateral economic and trade ties between the two countries. 

The guest wished that the Vietnamese people would attain more achievements in their national development.
