According to the assessment, Da Nang is still at the top of the list in the third consecutive year, with 68.34 points. The city was followed by Dong Thap and Quang Ninh provinces. Hanoi jumped two places to 24th, with 59 points, while Ho Chi Minh City dropped two places to sixth, with 61.36 points.
The PCI is a reliable index evaluating the business environment, the economic governance's capability, and the quality of administrative reforms in cities and provinces nationwide.
Addressing attendees at the event, VCCI President Vu Tien Loc said that VCCI and local authorities will work out measures to improve the investment and business environment in each locality, in order to attract more investment.
