Strategically located near Huu Nghi and Coc Nam border gates, it connects directly to the Hanoi - Lang Son expressway and the Vietnam - China intermodal railway, positioning it as a vital transit hub for trade flows between ASEAN and China.

A key highlight of the project is its operation on a digital platform developed by Viettel Post, integrating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), and Order Management Systems (OMS). This platform connects directly to the electronic customs system (VNACCS/VCIS) and utilizes RFID gates and AI cameras for real-time cargo tracking.

Speaking at the ceremony, Viettel Post Chairman Nguyen Viet Dung affirmed that the operation of the bonded warehouse is a crucial step in completing the smart logistics ecosystem in Lang Son. The facility functions not only as a storage site, but also as an integrated processing hub (sorting, labeling, cross-docking), aiming to reduce customs processing time to under 30 minutes.
