Under the theme of “Unlimited creativity,” the “Viettel Innovation Day 2022” is organized with numerous activities such as technology exhibition and speech contest.
At the meeting celebrating the group's foundation day, Viettel’s leadership evaluated the results of the group’s innovation activities and honor outstanding initiatives.
According to Viettel’s Chairman and General Director Senior Colonel Tao Duc Thang, the group is an enterprise which owns one of the most innovative working environments in Vietnam.
From 2011 to 2021, Viettel proposed 79,000 initiatives and around 10,000 of them was approved, bringing a benefit of more than VND 5.3 trillion. The group currently has 51 patents in Vietnam, 11 patents in the U.S., 220 core technologies, and 150 scientific publications, to name but a few. It aims to file about 470 patent applications by 2025.
