In addition, the group upheld the No.1 position in terms of mobile subscriber market share (53.8%). It was also active in carrying out the road-map to turn off 2G signal in Vietnam, increasing the ratio of 4G subscribers in the total number of subscribers to 78%, and testing 5G services in 55 provinces and cities nationwide.
Notably, the corporation’s foreign telecommunications services also achieved a growth rate of over 20%, of which five markets, namely Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Timor Leste, and Burundi, continued holding their No.1 positions.
Moreover, in this year, Vietnam gives the message “Technology with heart” to the public in a hope of using technology to solve problems, weather challenges and problems in society and bring a better life to people.
The group has so far accompanied, given advice to and implemented 19 digital transformation projects for more than 20 ministry-run units, and nearly 40 Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) projects in many provinces across the country.
