After 20 years of construction and development, Viettel Hau Giang has become a big telecoms firm in Hau Giang province, with more than 400 broadcast stations and around 300,000 mobile subscribers.
In 2021, Viettel Hau Giang was transformed from a telecommunications service provider into a digital service firm, creating a new business model with outstanding advantages in technology and IT products. Thanks to the rapid development, Viettel Hau Giang has maintained its leading position in terms of telecoms and IT application in the province.
Along with business activities, Viettel Hau Giang has actively conducted social activities.
Last year, Viettel Hau Giang contributed VND 200 million to the province’s COVID-19 prevention and control work, sponsored over VND 17 billion for the program entitled “Waves and computers for children,” set up free Internet connection for schools in the province with a total value of VND 720 million per year, and others.
This year, Viettel Hau Giang will launch the 5G network, which can provide the boost in speed, capacity, low latency and quality 50 times faster than 4G LTE networks. Also, the company sets a target to become a leading provider of telecommunications and information technology services in the province.
