In particular, the group’s companies in Asian markets, including Metfone, Unitel, Mytel, and Telemor, remained No.1 market share holders in terms of subscribers. Attentively, Mytel had the highest service revenue growth, nearly 80%.

Meanwhile, the group’s companies in African markets, such as Halotel, Lumitel, and Movitel enjoyed increase in e-wallet subscribers. Among them, Movitel ranked first in service revenue in African markets with a growth of 38.6% thanks to its strong development in 4G subscribers.

In the American markets, Natcom upheld its double-digit growth in five consecutive years and enjoyed the highest growth rate of 28.5% in nine years. Notably, Bitel’s Supper app gained 1 million users and was placed the first among apps of network providers in Peru.

In the first six months of this year, Viettel’s consolidated revenue in overseas markets reached USD 755.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%.

Currently, many overseas markets of Viettel Group with high 4G subscriber rate (over 75%) have been planning to switch off 3G stations. In addition, all group’s markets have sped up development of e-wallet subscribers. So far, Viettel Group has had 7.4 million e-wallet subscribers in its overseas markets.

The group has also put forth its strategies of developing digital transformation-related platforms and apps to meet the development of e-Government, digital economy and culture.
