The ceremony was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the IIG Vietnam Education Organization and the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel).

In detail, the qualifying round saw the attendance of nearly 2,200 candidates in 240 teams from universities, academies, colleges, and high schools in provinces and cities across the country.

This year, contestants will compete in three different contents, namely Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint of two versions of Microsoft Office 2016 and 2019.

The organizing panel will select six national winners to participate in the final round of the MOS World Championship at the end of July in the U.S. They will present one first, three second, five third, 12 consolation and one potential prizes.
